Presenture Promotes Peter Costner to Vice President of Sales

Costner leads sales and business development teams for national foodservice sales agency

Houston, Texas – June 16, 2017Presenture LLC, a national foodservice sales agency, today announced that Peter Costner has been promoted to vice president of sales. In his new role, Costner is responsible for developing and managing Presenture’s field sales and business development teams, helping them penetrate and dominate a challenging foodservice market.

As VP of sales, Costner will guide Presenture’s sales team members to connect with foodservice manufacturer clients and brokers to position their products in today’s competitive environment. He believes Presenture’s national broker network and key national accounts activity are real differentiators in the foodservice industry.

Costner’s foodservice career started early when he picked berries as a child at Nally’s in Washington state. After stints in commercial fishing, he became interested in foodservice operations as a foreign exchange student in Australia.

Costner graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant Management, and launched his 25-year industry career first working as a kitchen manager and chef at multimillion dollar restaurant concepts. Later, he joined Sysco Corporation in sales, and then worked in customer service management at ConAgra. After that, Costner spent 12 years in corporate product management positions for Sysco, where he helped develop new brands and products to sell through multiple channels. He joined Presenture in 2016 as a business development manager.

“With my background as a chef, I always say that I have fun playing with food,” said Costner. “I love sharing my passion for helping make a food product a nutrient without it being a detriment to diets. It’s all a balancing act.”
