According to the US Census Bureau and National Restaurant Association, during the first four months of the COVID-19 pandemic, foodservice sales declined by an estimated $145 billion. After falling to a low of $30 billion in April, eating and drinking places registered sales of $47.4 billion in June. This represented the second consecutive monthly sales gain due to local economies continuing to reopen and ease restrictions. However, overall spending in restaurants was still well below normal levels. In July, as some economies are starting to backtrack amid spiking COVID-19 case levels, the road to recovery will be unsteady.
Presenture has embraced a new normal whether it is sales calls done outdoors or training webinars via Zoom. We are doing everything we can to support our manufacturer-clients, broker partners, distributors, and operators with innovative new products and uninterrupted services.
